Engage Gifts
A social enterprise in the heart of Hucknall… Formally known as Booktalk, Engage Gifts has expanded from being solely a Christian bookshop to a gift shop stocking a range of beautiful, unique and handmade products including jewellery, artwork and crafts. Many of our products are fairtrade, ethical or made by local artists. As well as gifts, cards and wrap, Engage Gifts also offer a selection of fairtrade food, toys, children’s books and continue to sell quality Christian books and teaching resources. If a book or item you need is not stocked, it can easily be ordered for you. Situated in the centre of Hucknall town on the junction of Watnall Road and Hucknall High Street. Engage Gifts is a social enterprise, and all profits are used for local community projects. Engage Gifts is managed by Hucknall Engage, a local charitable organisation set-up over 10 years ago by Churches Together in Hucknall, Linby & Papplewick, as a way of helping people in the local community - “God’s love in action”. Hucknall Engage’s activities include providing regular food parcels for struggling individuals and families. Engage also runs a furniture donation/distribution programme, providing furniture items for those who are without essential items. We’re always looking for new volunteers, so if you’re interested in finding out more, pop into the shop and speak to a volunteer about opportunities. Opening Times: Visit us:
