Transformational!

On Saturday 5th May we enjoyed a great day of teaching around the subject of serving our community in a way which brings transformation. Mike Holmes led us in the morning and evening drawing from his experience at Bethlehem Church Life Centre in Cefn Cribwr, South Wales. In the evening and again on Sunday morning Mike challenged us to capture the heart of God, when we appreciate his love for us then we will respond by loving God and loving people. The Saturday morning sessions were recorded and are available on CD or as mp3 files. The Sunday morning message is available in our Podcasts section.

Church Weekend

Transitioning Church, Transforming Community is the title of our Church Weekend this year. Sign up now in the Church Foyer or contact Ian Smith. Saturday 5th May will be a day of teaching to equip and motivate us to share God's love more and more in the community. There will be 2 sessions in the morning, seminars in the afternoon, and a celebration in the evening. You can access all or part of the day (please sign up for meals, for children's groups, or to help out). On Sunday 6th May we will have a picnic together after the morning service (weather permitting). In the evening there will be a special prayer service at church to pray for our community. Our speaker for the weekend is Rev Mike Holmes from South Wales.

Induction Service

Saturday Afternoon, 10th March, saw a congregation of approximately 250 gather for Stephen Ibbotson's Induction Service into his new role as Lead Minister at Watnall Road. It was a great time of celebration and commissioning. Thanks to all who helped with music, catering, welcoming, etc.
